L&D Change Management Specialist

Position Overview

The L&D Change Management Specialist works collaboratively with key stakeholders to assess change impacts and develop comprehensive change management strategies that drive the successful adoption and realization of learning and development initiatives.

This role ensures organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication planning to support enterprise-wide L&D initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Change Strategy & Planning

  • Perform change impact analyses to assess organizational readiness.

  • Conduct stakeholder analyses to ensure awareness, engagement, and support throughout the change process.

  • Develop and execute change management strategies, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement plans.

  • Monitor adoption progress and proactively address resistance to change.

  • Manage expectations and communicate updates throughout the initiative lifecycle.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives and recommend continuous improvements.

Communications & Engagement

  • Develop internal marketing and communication collateral including:

    • Self-service resources

    • Newsletter articles

    • Email communications

    • Stakeholder presentations

    • Sponsor talking points

  • Leverage digital communication channels and media to effectively reach target audiences.

  • Align learning and development initiatives with broader organizational priorities.

  • Present updates to key leaders and drive stakeholder management activities as needed.

  • Contribute to broader Global Learning & Development departmental communications initiatives.

Data & Measurement

  • Utilize a data-driven approach and employee listening insights to inform change strategies.

  • Measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.

  • Analyze global audiences/personas and tailor communication plans accordingly.


Qualifications

Required

  • Proven ability to develop and execute change management and communication strategies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and compelling messaging across multiple channels (email, newsletters, presentations, video scripts, internal marketing content).

  • Demonstrated storytelling ability and skill in simplifying complex information into employee-centric communications.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.

  • Ability to measure communication effectiveness and adapt strategies accordingly.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management frameworks and methodologies.

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment.

  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture while executing detailed deliverables.

  • Ability to experiment, learn, and adapt (including leveraging AI tools and innovative communication channels).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

Preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience in change management, internal communications, and/or employee engagement initiatives.

  • PROSCI (or other change management methodology) certification.

  • Metrics-driven mindset with demonstrated experience using data to define and evaluate strategy effectiveness.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or related field.


Work Arrangement

  • Primarily remote role.

  • Hybrid option available for candidates located near the site.
