Production Operator Assistant
Pay:
1 st Shift: $17.56/hour
3 rd Shift: $18.56/hour
Hours:
1 st Shift: 5:45am-6:00pm
3 rd Shift: 5:45pm-6:00am
Nesco Resource is looking for Production Operator Assistants to help support the Production Operators by ensuring they can remain at their workstation without interruption. This position is a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport carts and materials between departments to keep production running smoothly
- Refill product and supplies at machines as needed
- Assist with inspecting products for defects and quality concerns
- Deliver product samples to the Quality Assurance (QA) department
- Remove scrap and empty trash to maintain a clean work area
- Support operators with washing, drying, trimming, and packaging processes when needed
- Help maintain continuous product flow from molding through finishing
- Move materials into and out of the production area
- Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean and prepared for shift changes
- Maintain dependable attendance and work effectively within a team environment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills are helpful
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs. and constant lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
