Job Title:
Subassembly Operator
Job Purpose:
The Subassembly Operator is responsible for operating subassembly machinery to produce high-quality component parts for switch assembly. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and consistency in handling small components.
Working Conditions:

Day shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Occasional scheduled overtime may be required.
Physical Requirements:

Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle small parts accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Subassembly Set-Up Personnel and Floor Supervisor to ensure smooth operations.

Perform light manufacturing tasks to produce accurate component parts for assembly operators.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the subassembly department.

Assist with other subassembly tasks as needed to support team efficiency.
Qualifications:
All applicants must successfully complete an alcohol/drug screening and criminal background check prior to employment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small components.

Ability to read and follow written work instructions and print specifications.

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
