Nesco is currently seeking an experienced Team Lead for a growing vehicle company in the Kentucky area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving production goals, supporting team members, and ensuring daily operations run efficiently and safely.
Position Overview
The Team Lead will provide leadership, direction, and problem-solving support to assigned work cells. This role plays a key part in maintaining productivity, quality standards, and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and assist team members in completing daily production tasks

Communicate assignments, expectations, and instructions clearly to work cell personnel

Monitor workflow to ensure production goals are met

Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste
-
Maintain familiarity with all departmental processes and procedures

Support continuous improvement and quality standards

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience
-
At least 2 years of computer experience (Excel & Microsoft Office required)

3 years of forklift experience preferred

Strong ability to prioritize, work independently, and maintain professional working relationships

Experience using measuring devices such as scales and gauges

Basic PC skills with ability to access required systems

Ability to qualify for the highest-ranking job classification within assigned department

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Familiar with safe operation of tools such as drills and screw guns

General knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
-
May be required to obtain certifications (Forklift, Welding, Lean Bronze, etc.)
Physical Requirements

Frequently walking; occasionally standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling

Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs without assistance

Ability to work in squatting, kneeling, or bending positions

Ability to work with arms above head

Ability to work from ladders or scaffolding

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours with scheduled breaks)

Ability to safely operate hand, air, and power tools and protective safety equipment

Close, peripheral, and depth vision required

Ability to work in noisy and dusty environments

Responsible for handling and disposing of hazardous waste safely
