Experience with small electronic or mechanical assembly

Recent graduate from technical school or high school preferred

Basic computer skills

Job Responsibilities
-
Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components
-
Identify parts that require replacement and determine equipment needing new components
-
Place orders for replacement parts as needed
-
Perform a variety of technical tasks using standard methods and procedures

Apply basic judgment and problem-solving skills to complete assigned work
Additional Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Apprenticeship and/or formal technical training may be required depending on specialty
-
Typically requires 2–4 years of experience in the field or a related area

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the discipline
-
Ability to work under general supervision

Demonstrates a moderate level of creativity, flexibility, and independent judgment

Reports to a supervisor or manager
