You are the quality control detective , inspecting printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to make sure they meet customer requirements and workmanship standards.
Job Duties
- Review AOI output to assess PCBA quality
- Spot recurring manufacturing defects and collaborate with the SMT Operator, Production Coordinator, and Process Engineer to resolve them
- Catch false calls and help fine-tune AOI programs
- Log defects in the MES system with precision
- Recommend documentation improvements for better quality outcomes
- Continue developing your inspection and AOI skills through hands-on training
- Assist with x-ray inspection as needed
Position Requirements
- An eye for detail – you can spot what others might miss
- Solid visual inspection skills
- Intermediate computer skills and comfort working with data
- Patience and focus for detailed, repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of electronic components
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Willingness to grow – IPC-610 certification required within 3-6 months (training provided)
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: 1 year in a manufacturing environment
- Bonus: Experience working with SMT lines or inspection equipment
