About the Role
Nesco Resource is seeking a Licensed Professional Structural Engineer with 10 years of experience in industrial & EPC structural design. This senior leadership role supports capital projects in thermal facilities, steam generation plants, and heavy industrial environments. You will play a key role in structural delivery from FEED through detailed design, interfacing with multi-discipline teams, and ensuring compliance across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering design and analysis for large-scale industrial projects (thermal/steam/utility and process plants).
- Develop and review structural calculations, load evaluations, foundation design, and seismic/wind force analysis.
- Provide technical direction to engineering teams, designers, and drafters.
- Ensure structural deliverables meet project scope, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers; guide structural modeling and analysis efforts.
- Support construction phase engineering and field execution as required.
- PE (Professional Engineer) licensed in Texas (required) with ability to pursue reciprocity/licensure in multiple states.
- 10 years structural engineering experience in EPC, power, industrial, or process sectors.
- Proven background with thermal facilities, steam generation plants, and heavy-industrial structural systems.
- Strong knowledge of AISC, ASCE, ACI, and applicable design codes.
- Experience with laser scanning/3D as-built reconciliation.
- Leadership experience in multi-state EPC project delivery.
