A day in the life:
Process. Review. Balance. Resolve.
- Process payroll on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures for weekly payroll processing and balancing across multiple branches
- Gather, review, and accurately input payroll data
- Examine payroll reports to identify discrepancies and resolve errors proactively
- Ensure reports are balanced and payroll records are properly maintained
- Perform weekly and monthly billing processing for assigned branches
- Process client invoices in accordance with specific client requirements
- Initiate and prepare debit and credit memos as needed
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and billing issues
- Maintain compliance with company safety guidelines and report any safety concerns
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous payroll processing experience required
- Working knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax withholding concepts
- Strong administrative and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to timely and accurate responses
- Working knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and present a professional image at all times
