Working closely with site teams, procurement, packaging engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help identify opportunities, perform technical evaluations, and support implementation of agreed value initiatives across selected product portfolios.
This is an individual contributor role focused on analysis, execution support, and collaboration under guidance from senior engineers or managers.
Key Responsibilities
Value Opportunity Identification & Analysis
Support identification of value engineering opportunities across raw and packaging materials, including:
o Alternative materials
o Specification optimization
o Process or application changes
o Material type changes
Assist in building opportunity cost analyses while ensuring product quality and brand requirements are maintained.
Work with processing and formulation teams to understand recipes, raw material usage, and complexity drivers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with site teams, procurement (global and local), and packaging engineers to:
o Collect material specifications
o Analyze packaging variants and complexity
o Support consolidation opportunities
Participate in cross-functional discussions to align on selected initiatives and next steps.
Support development of execution plans and protocols for approved projects.
Project Execution Support
Assist site teams during implementation of value initiatives.
Track progress of assigned projects and help maintain project documentation.
Support preparation of reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and management.
Monitor savings delivery versus targets.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in idea generation workshops and contribute improvement concepts.
Support collection and documentation of best practices.
Assist with benchmarking activities (internal and external) to identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to knowledge sharing across sites and teams.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure assigned projects comply with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and sustainability guidelines.
Follow established engineering and change management processes.
Experience and Skills
Experience
4–6 years of experience in engineering, value engineering, packaging, process engineering, or related manufacturing roles.
Exposure to FMCG, food & beverage, chemicals, or consumer goods manufacturing preferred.
Experience working in cross-functional environments
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
