Job Title: Machinist II
Summary
Sets up and operates machines to make and repair metal and other material parts. Reads blueprints and instructions to produce quality parts that meet required measurements and standards.
1st Shift 7:00 am -3:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and punch presses.

Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.

Measure parts using precision tools to ensure accuracy.

Select and install proper cutting tools and materials.

Make, modify, and repair parts, tools, jigs, and fixtures.

Maintain required tolerances and quality standards.

Perform basic shop math to calculate dimensions, speeds, and feeds.

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.

Follow all safety rules and company procedures.

Complete required paperwork and reports.

Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent.

2–4 years of machining experience or related training.

Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Basic math and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
