POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating CNC and mechanical press brakes to manufacture metal parts in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications, and quality standards.
Location: Willoughby, OH
Shift: WEEKEND SHIFT
Training on 1st shift -6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday with OT Friday as needed then you will move to 6:00am to 6:00pm Friday-Sunday(paid for 40 hours)
Salary: $19-$22 an hour based on experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates production equipment to produce assigned products in accordance with instructions and standards using CNC and Mechanical Press Brakes and proper tooling.
- Tooling set ups in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Records data for each job.
- Inspects parts and documents findings
- Other job duties as needed
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Prior Press Brake operating experience
- Experience with OSHA safety requirements.
- Ability to read drawings and understand tolerances.
- Skilled at using measuring tools and gauges.
- Skilled at understanding detailed machine/tooling purpose, capability and functions.
- Ability to understand and execute light machine/tooling maintenance requirements.
- Friday to be used as needed for voluntary or mandatory overtime.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds,
- Operate machinery, manual and power tools as necessary.
