Machinist / Precision Machine Operator

1st Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6:00am – 4:30pm
$24.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)
3-Day Weekends Every Week
Nesco Resource is hiring an experienced Machinist / Machine Operator for a precision manufacturing company in New Boston, NH. This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator who takes pride in producing high-quality precision parts and wants a consistent 4-day work week.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Operate centerless grinders, long stroke gun drill machines, and hone machines

Produce precision machined parts using manual and automated equipment

Read and interpret blueprints and customer prints
-
Use micrometers, calipers, and precision measurement tools
-
Perform shop math calculations to verify tolerances

Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
-
Monitor machines and troubleshoot minor issues

Perform routine machine maintenance

Follow all safety and quality procedures
What We’re Looking For:

2 years of machining or manufacturing experience

Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances
-
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
-
Experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Strong math skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of centerless grinding is a plus
-
High school diploma or equivalent
Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
