Junior Desktop Support Analyst (Financial Services)

What You’ll Do
- Provide first-level desktop support for hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 workstations, laptops, and common applications
- Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access requests (Active Directory)
- Support software installations, updates, and basic patching activities
- Help maintain and support virtual desktop environments (VMware Horizon, Citrix)
- Log, track, and update tickets in the IT service management system
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members when needed
- Assist with basic documentation and knowledge base updates
- Support device setup, imaging, and deployment for new hires
- Provide friendly, professional support to end users across the organization
What You Bring
- 1–3 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management
- Exposure to ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar is a plus)
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity issues)
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach
Nice to Have
- Exposure to VMware Horizon, Citrix, or virtual desktop environments
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell or scripting
- Familiarity with MECM/SCCM or other endpoint management tools
- Interest in IT security or infrastructure
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
