CNC Machinist / Programmer

We’re hiring a hands-on CNC Machinist / Programmer to join a stable, quality-focused shop in Lexington, KY. This is a direct hire role with benefits — ideal for a machinist who can program at the machine, run multiple pallets, and keep parts moving.
What You’ll Do

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using G-code and conversational

Run multiple machines/pallets while maintaining quality and productivity

Prepare tooling and load parts per job instructions

Perform first article and in-process inspections

Track production time using a barcode system

Handle material using pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts

Support other shop tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Strong blueprint reading and shop math (geometry & trig)

CNC programming and machine setup experience
-
Knowledge of dimensional inspection & metrology
-
Experience in ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments preferred

Comfortable using computers and shop systems
