Nesco Resource is looking for an Operator-Cut/Grinder located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidates.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Position Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on operator to support tube finishing processes including cutting, cleaning, and surface preparation. This role requires strong dexterity, microscope inspection, and precision work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC cut-to-length (CTL) machines to cut tubes to specification
- Run acid-cleaning equipment to treat and clean tube surfaces
- Perform grinding and finishing as needed
- Inspect parts under a microscope for quality and surface defects
- Measure and verify dimensions using decimals to 4–5 places
- Follow safety, quality, and production standards
- CNC or machine operation experience preferred
- Comfortable performing microscope work for extended periods
- High hand dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of decimal measurements and tight tolerances
- Reliable and able to work in a production environment
