System Test Technician – 1st Shift
$20.00/hour (DOE) | Temporary
We’re partnering with a Plug Power to hire an experienced System Test Technician to support advanced fuel cell testing and production operations. This is a hands-on, technical role ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Pay

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Occasional overtime may be required (early/late or Saturdays, with advance notice when possible)

Pay: $20.00/hr.

Open-ended temporary assignment; long-term work and/or conversion possible
What You’ll Do
-
Perform system and component testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics

Compile and document test results and repairs
-
Support manufacturing teams with product quality and test operations

Assemble electro-mechanical components using hand and power tools

Follow digital SOPs and safety procedures
-
Maintain organized, safe work areas (5S standards)
What We’re Looking For
-
3 years of test, manufacturing, or operations experience
-
Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills

Comfortable using hand/power tools and computers
-
Ability to read work instructions and complete documentation
-
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
-
Steel-toe shoes required before Day 1
