Quality Technician – 1st Shift
$20/hr.
We’re partnering with a Plug Power to hire a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support advanced manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing quality experience who enjoys inspections, documentation, and driving continuous improvement.
Schedule & Pay

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Occasional overtime may be required (early/late or Saturdays, with advance notice when possible)

Pay: $20/hr.

Open-ended temporary assignment; long-term work and/or conversion possible
What You’ll Do

Inspect incoming and manufactured parts to blueprints and specifications

Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools
-
Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and inspection documentation

Support audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement efforts

Maintain accurate records related to inspection and nonconforming material

Work closely with production and engineering teams
What We’re Looking For

3 years of manufacturing quality experience (or Associate’s degree in technical field)

Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

Experience with ISO 9001 (IATF/AIAG knowledge a plus)

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and quality systems

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Steel-toe shoes required before Day 1
