Job Title: Refractory Technician
Salary: Pay: $25/hr
Shift: Day Shift (Monday through Thursday 5 am to 330 pm)
Location: Owasso, OK
Contract to hire role
We are seeking an experienced Refractory Technician to support industrial boiler and heavy equipment manufacturing. This is a hands-on role for candidates with full refractory installation experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform refractory installation including studding, mastic application, forming, pouring, gunning, insulating, lagging, trim work, and brick laying
- Stage materials and tools to meet daily production goals
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
- Support team production schedules
Qualifications:
- 3 years of refractory experience preferred
- Experience with complete refractory job sets required
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Comfortable working in a production-driven environment
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk 10 hours per shift
- Lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs
- Work in industrial and occasional confined space environments
