TIG WELDERS NEEDED - AEROSPACE

Shift
- 1st shift M-Thur 5:00am - 3:30pm
- 2nd shift M-Thur 3:30pm - 2am
- Phoenix/Tempe, AZ
- Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction
- Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbology
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation
- Welding equipment maintenance
- Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor
Knowledge and Abilities: - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Ability to read blueprints and instructions
- Basic Computer skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques
- Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
- Capable of reading wiring schematic
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of3 -5years TIG welding experience with close tolerance
- Aerospace experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Ability to work standing for periods of time
- Eyesight correctable to 20/30 required
- Will be required to take and pass a color blindness test for visual inspections
- Able to wear cleanroom attire
