Application Developer II

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Application Developer II to join a growing Business Systems team within a manufacturing organization. This role plays a key part in supporting and improving business processes and enterprise systems that power daily operations across the company.
You will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring enterprise systems align with operational needs and company goals. This is a hands-on, collaborative role that blends application development, ERP support, process improvement, and project coordination.
What you'll do
- Analyze, design, and implement improvements to business systems and processes
- Partner with stakeholders across operations, finance, and manufacturing to document requirements
- Translate business needs into clear functional system requirements
- Configure, test, and deploy ERP enhancements, upgrades, and new modules
- Lead user acceptance testing to ensure systems meet business expectations
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or integrations
- Support data migration, reporting, and dashboard development using SQL, SSRS, or Power BI
- Manage project planning, change management, and stakeholder communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to guide system and process decisions
- Provide technical support for ERP issues, reports, and related applications
- May lead small project teams or workstreams
What we're looking for
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 2 years of experience as an Application Developer or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET
- General familiarity with Windows Server environments
- Solid understanding of business processes in operations, finance, or manufacturing
- Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Infor CloudSuite Industrial / SyteLine
- Ability to gather requirements, map processes, and create clear documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred experience
- 3–5 years in application development or ERP implementation/support
- Advanced experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine)
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, or middleware
- Certifications such as CBAP or ERP-related credentials
