Core Responsibilities
Lead multiple high-priority technical projects within Enterprise Data and Information Services (EDIS). The individual will take projects from original concept through final implementation using Agile methodologies. They will interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users and vendors, and ensure adherence to quality standards and project deliverables.
- Work with business leaders to define backlog, sprint priority; manage project scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition that support the diverse business goals and interests of multiple stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional team members toward common outcomes and execution.
- Participate in PI planning, capacity planning, and team sizing to meet stakeholder objectives.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze and solve complex problems; take initiative to facilitate planning and execute as assigned; ensure the tracking and reporting of daily activities; meet project budget, schedule, scope, and risk targets.
- Foster and encourage open and honest feedback; learn from feedback (setbacks, mistakes) to drive improvement.
- Identify and assess risks and issues and proactively mitigate and resolve them.
- Perform impact analysis and prioritization.
- May perform Data Analyst responsibilities as needed.
- Manage project teams that include onshore and offshore resources.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- Three years of Scrum Master delivery experience.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience leading multiple Agile teams.
- Demonstrate solid leadership competencies; organized, servant leader, and facilitator.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Facilitates and encourages open and honest discussions that build healthy team culture, trust, and respect.
- Passionate about learning and self-improvement.
- Effectively communicates with others by tailoring approach based on context and emotions of others.
- Experience with Technology Implementation.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge or experience in the financial and banking services industry is a plus.
- Experience working with or managing banking projects.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Experience working as a Data Analyst in the financial and banking sector is a plus.
