IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a technical support specialist for a 6 month contract with the potential to convert to perm. Seeking candidates that can wear "many " hats in a small, office/production environment. Candidate will be part of a small IT team performing hardware break/fix, desktop support, reimaging, server/networking support and other project functions. 
This role is ideal for a proactive IT professional who enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and delivering reliable technology solutions that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of assigned service tickets, projects, and technical tasks from initiation through resolution.
  • Coordinate and deliver IT support via phone, email, remote tools, and in person.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and permissions.
  • Perform administration of Microsoft 365/O365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure AD.
  • Support and maintain SharePoint environments.
  • Assist with Azure infrastructure and cloud-based services (preferred).
  • Implement and support virtualization technologies.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot  network infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, networking, and PC operating system issues.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365/O365 administration experience required.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
  • Azure experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and implementations.
  • Strong hardware and networking troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
