Production Associate - Tub Washer 1st Shift - 5:00am – 3:30pm 4 days, Monday – Thursday w/Potential Overtime


Payrate is 18-20/Hr depending on experience

General Summary:


Position is an entry-level position within the Inks manufacturing operation, primarily responsible for washing, cleaning,
sanitizing, and preparing production tubs and containers used in ink manufacturing operations. Ensures tubs and containers
meet cleanliness, quality, and safety standards to support efficient production, product integrity, and customer
requirements in accordance with *** policies and procedures.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Obtains correct documentation, work instructions, and follows established sanitation procedures.
Prepares mixing vessels to be washed and safely operates automated and/or manual tub washing vessel,
parts/valves, and sanitation equipment, checking all controls for adherence to operating and safety procedures.
Load, unload, stage, and transport tubs, bins, and containers to and from washing areas.
Apply appropriate cleaning agents, detergents, and sanitizers by established specifications and SDS guidelines.
Inspect tubs and containers for cleanliness, residue, damage, or defects; remove and report non-confirming items.
Monitor wash cycles, temperatures, pressures, and chemical concentrations to ensure proper sanitation.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of tub washing equipment and work area.
Accurately complete and maintain required production, sanitation, and inspection documentation.
Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality deviations to supervisor in a timely manner.
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards in accordance with *** expectations.
Follow and comply with all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Support production operators by ensuring a consistent supply of clean, read-to-use tubs and containers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Safety, Quality & Compliance


Follow all *** EHS policies and procedures, including PPE requirements and safe chemical handling practices.
Comply with OSHA, GMP, and environmental regulations applicable to ink manufacturing.
Properly handle inks, cleaning chemicals, and solvents per SDS guidelines.
Participate in safety training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Physical & Environmental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the Tub Washer is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or
crawl; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and/or hear. Occasionally required to sit.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally handle heavier loads with assistance or mechanical aids.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety
glasses and shoes, gloves, hard hat, dust mask, hearing protection, respirator, apron, chemical suit, and face shield, etc. The

noise level in work environment is usually moderate with exception of high noise areas. Proper personal safety equipment
must be used while performing this job and is dictated by Plant safety guidelines. Frequently exposed to wet/humid
conditions, moisture, dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemical dust, vibration, chemical exposure, non-hazardous chemical
agents, and temperature variations. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
