Responsible for supplier market research and obtaining documentation for solicitation efforts (drawings, scorecards, historical purchases). Evaluates supplier information to determine most desirable suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II will help drive the completion of compliant FAR15 packages and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with program requirements.
• Execute FAR15 subcontracts IAW FAR, DFARS and applicable regulations.
• Support negotiations (price, terms & conditions)
• Manage key program suppliers.
• Build supplier strategies to enable the best overall value to ***
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance
• US Person due to contractual requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)
• Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
• Strong negotiation skills and processes
• Supply chain experience
• Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry
• Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.
• Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
• Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions
