Pay Rate: $20.00/hour 1.50 shift differential
Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shifts: Mon–Thurs, 215 pm–1245 am, Monday - Thursday, with availability to work OT on Friday

Precision Material Handler – Heavy Materials & Large Product Movement

Are you someone who takes pride in moving materials with skill, accuracy, and control? We are looking for a detail-focused Material Handler who is comfortable handling large-scale metal products and heavy materials while maintaining safety, precision, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

In this role, your expertise helps ensure that large, high-value materials move safely and accurately through every stage of production, storage, and shipping. If you have strong forklift experience and enjoy hands-on work that requires focus and coordination, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

• Safely move large and heavy metal materials throughout the facility using forklifts and manual handling techniques

• Load and unload trucks and freight carriers while ensuring materials are properly balanced, secured, and protected

• Stage materials for production and shipping to maintain an efficient workflow across departments

• Band, secure, and package large materials according to customer specifications and shipping standards

• Handle oversized or high-weight materials with precision and care to prevent damage or delays

• Verify labels, packaging accuracy, and shipment readiness before materials leave the facility

• Maintain an organized and safe work area while following all material handling procedures

• Occasionally assist with outdoor unloading and material movement

What You’ll Need

• Previous sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Proven ability to safely move large, heavy, or oversized materials

• Experience with material staging, banding, and packaging of industrial products

• Comfort using RF scanners or material tracking systems

• Strong physical stamina – ability to lift, move, and maneuver heavy materials and remain active throughout the shift

• A precision mindset and strong attention to detail when handling high-value materials

• Team-oriented attitude and commitment to workplace safety
