A day in the life:
Lead. Strategize. Deliver
- Lead, manage, and develop a recruiting team, driving high performance and accountability
- Create and execute branch recruitment strategies, including job fairs, networking events, and advertising initiatives
- Partner with recruiters to identify the most effective sourcing strategies for open positions
- Track and analyze weekly and monthly recruiting metrics to ensure performance goals are met
- Prioritize daily recruiting needs, team schedules, and resource utilization
- Train, mentor, and coach team members to strengthen skills and develop future leaders
- Research, evaluate, and implement new recruiting methods, best practices, and technologies
- Stay hands-on in recruiting efforts, including candidate sourcing, interviews, onboarding, and quality control calls
- Build strong, consultative client relationships through strategic in-person visits and ongoing communication
- Conduct client business reviews and support pricing and quoting decisions
- Partner closely with Branch and Sales Managers to support overall business objectives
- Support payroll, unemployment, and workers' compensation processes as needed
- Perform HR-related functions for contract employees, including counseling and terminations
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies and report any safety concerns promptly
- Represent Nesco in the community by networking with civic, social, and professional organizations
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years of progressive experience in the staffing industry, including team leadership
- Proven success leading recruitment initiatives and developing high-performing teams
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence
- Ability to build trust, influence others, and maintain strong client relationships
- Comfort performing in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and train on multiple systems
- A strong ethical compass and commitment to exceptional customer service
