Seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts at floor stations, testing and calibrating parts and mechanisms, and ensuring that all products meet specified tolerances and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly:
Assemble units using hand tools and power tools according to product specifications.
Follow detailed instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform assembly tasks.
Testing and Calibration:
Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications.
Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of quality in all assembly tasks.
Document any issues or discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.
Collaboration:
Work under immediate supervision and report to a supervisor or manager.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate assembly processes.
Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience in assembly or a related field.
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Ability to follow instructions and work under immediate supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to lift and move parts and assemblies as needed.
