1st shift Punch Press Operator for a local client located in Milford.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read digital calipers and micrometers
- Perform a variety of punch press operations such as blanking, drawing, piercing and other automatic press operations.
- Must be able to work with part drawings and use micrometer and various inspection gages to establish first piece inspection of stamped parts.
- Responsible for accurate recording of quantities produced, scrap and time worked, use of all applicable available safety equipment and adhere to the "5s 2 program.
- Verifies identifying product information and counts/weighs parts on electronic scales for outgoing shipments.
- Adheres to all requirements of IOS Procedures related to EPG.
- Completes additional tasks not identified by this document but deemed necessary by the Manufacturing Manager.
Must be able to work overtime when needed.
Exercise a high degree of care in positioning work to avoid damage to parts and equipment
Prolonged periods of sitting at Press Machine.
