  • Develop compliance matrices covering electrical, mechanical, environmental, and regulatory requirements

  • Estimate material, labor, development, test costs, and lead times for new product quotations

  • Lead design and development projects through established engineering processes

  • Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, cost, and delivery

  • Support prototype builds and provide hands-on guidance to technicians and assemblers

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain to support new product introduction

  • Provide regular project status updates and participate in design reviews

  • Support production programs related to obsolescence, reliability, and performance improvements

  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong experience in RF/microwave oscillator and OCXO design with emphasis on ultra-low phase noise and g-sensitivity

  • Expertise in resonator selection, oscillator optimization, amplification, DC regulation, and RF/analog/digital layout best practices

  • Proficiency with RF/microwave synthesis, simulation, and analysis tools (e.g., AWR Microwave Office, PathWave/Genesys)

  • Understanding of oscillator fabrication technologies and manufacturing processes

  • Strong project leadership and hands-on bench-level troubleshooting skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced engineering and production environment

  • Familiarity with aerospace, avionics, or military communication systems preferred

  • Ability to work with ITAR-controlled technical data

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of RF/microwave oscillator design experience
