Warehouse Associate I PROPANE FORKLIFT OPERATOR – 1st Shift
Location: Dallas/Garland, TX 75238
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Overtime: Weekend & OT as needed

REQUIRED – MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OPERATING A SIT-DOWN PROPANE FORKLIFT
Candidates who cannot safely operate a sit-down propane forklift will not be considered.
General Description
The Warehouse Associate I performs material handling duties to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and production staging. This role requires safe and experienced operation of a sit-down propane forklift, accurate order fulfillment, and compliance with all safety and company procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift to move, pull, and receive inventory

Complete required safety training and follow all safety policies

Pull/receive product with accurate counts per work orders

Report product, equipment, or forklift damage immediately

Stage components to support production

Build and wrap pallets using manual or automated shrink equipment

Secure loads using bracing, blocking, and hand/pneumatic tools

Follow process sheets for all shipments (job #, destination, product)

Maintain assigned warehouse areas for cleanliness and organization

Assist with year-end inventory counts (overtime as needed)

Support other departments and warehouse projects as assigned
Qualifications – REQUIRED

MUST be able to operate a sit-down propane forklift without assistance

Ability to read/write English and follow written procedures

Basic math skills for counting and measuring

Experience using barcode or inventory systems preferred

Ability to use hand tools (hammer, nail gun, air tools)
Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Sit and operate forklift for extended periods

Bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead

Manual dexterity to use tools and equipment

Ability to climb ladders when needed
Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED
-
6 months – 2 years warehouse experience REQUIRED

Prior forklift certification preferred
