Nesco Resource is looking for an Operator-Final Anneal located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidates.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Position Overview: Seeking a detail-oriented operator to support final heat treating and annealing processes in a manufacturing environment. This role involves running annealing equipment, inspecting materials, and ensuring product quality to precise standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate annealing/heat treat machines
- Monitor production and perform quality checks throughout the process
- Inspect materials using microscopes to detect scratches, dents, or surface defects
- Complete test sheets and record serial numbers, dates, and measurements accurately
- Multitask in a fast-paced production setting
- Machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with decimals
- Comfortable using microscopes and inspection tools
- Must read, write, and speak English for documentation
- Able to lift up to 50 lb metal spools occasionally
