Nesco Resource is looking for an Operator-Bull Block located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Pay: $18-$20/hour
Position Overview: Seeking a hands-on machine operator to support metal forming and size-reduction processes in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating equipment, handling materials, and working with metal rods, coils, and spools.
Responsibilities:
- Operate draw bull block and related machinery
- Load metal rods (3–20 ft.) into tubes and machines for reduction
- Form and coil metal onto large spools
- Assemble and set up equipment
- Measure to tight tolerances using decimals (up to 4–5 places)
- Follow safety and production standards
- Machine operation or manufacturing experience required
- Mechanically inclined with strong manual labor skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout shift
- Detail-oriented and dependable
