Payroll Specialist – ADP GlobalView Implementation & M&A Support

Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET (may require additional hours as testing ramps up)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite (may increase based on business needs)


Position Summary

The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in supporting payroll operations during the implementation of ADP GlobalView, including system and timekeeping testing. This position will also provide payroll support for year-end merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, ensuring accurate payroll integration, data validation, compliance, and timely processing throughout the transition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support system testing and validation for the ADP GlobalView implementation and related timekeeping updates.

  • Assist with payroll components of M&A activities, including system testing, data migration, and integration validation.

  • Ensure accurate calculation of net pay, including earnings, withholdings, and deductions.

  • Review, organize, and maintain payroll documentation required by federal, state, and local authorities (e.g., W-2s).

  • Manage payroll distribution processes, including direct deposit.

  • Maintain and update payroll records; identify, investigate, and report discrepancies or issues.

  • Audit employee timesheets to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to payroll policies.

  • Prepare payroll-related journal entries to support period-end financial reporting.


Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of payroll or related experience.

  • Hands-on expertise with ADP GlobalView.

  • Experience supporting payroll system testing, validation, or implementations.

  • Strong understanding of payroll concepts, regulations, and best practices.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong judgment and effective problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Experience with Kronos timekeeping systems.

  • Experience with SAP timekeeping solutions.

  • Prior involvement supporting payroll functions during mergers and acquisitions.

  • Experience preparing payroll-related journal entries.

  • Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass time reporting.


Timekeeping

  • Worker will utilize SAP Fieldglass for weekly time reporting.
