Location: Malvern Office (with travel to field sites)

Job Summary
The IT Support Technician II provides Tier I/II technical support to field and production offices in a user-facing role. This position supports hardware, software, and Windows-based systems, serving as a local IT resource in a fast-paced oil and gas environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically skilled, adaptable, and maintains a professional, positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities

Provide Tier I/II end-user support for hardware, software, laptops, and iPhones/iPads

Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate IT issues as appropriate

Configure, deploy, reconfigure, and decommission end-user equipment per IT lifecycle policies

Maintain IT asset inventory within assigned area

Support user onboarding and offboarding

Assist with Active Directory users, groups, and devices

Perform drilling rig and fracking site visits; assist with rig up/down of IT equipment

Maintain system health and security through updates and patches

Document issues, maintain logs, and provide process improvement feedback

Stay current on hardware, operating systems, and technology trends
Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities

Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure

Able to work evenings, weekends, or after hours as needed

Willingness to travel to remote job sites

Valid driver's license required

3 years of Tier I/II IT support experience in a corporate environment (oil & gas preferred)

Microsoft MTA Operating Systems Fundamentals
Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Dexterity to assemble and repair IT equipment

Work in varying environments, including oil field sites
