Position Summary

The Fee Analyst I is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of payments and deposits. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure payment quality, compliance, and efficiency throughout the processing lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities – Fee Payment Processing

  • Process daily deposit packages to ensure funds are accurately moved to the appropriate accounts.

  • Enter payments into the system and distribute work to team members for processing.

  • Scan processed payments and supporting reports into the online imaging system (OnBase) for secure and efficient data retrieval.

  • Prepare and manage files for system uploads.

  • Analyze and review payments to ensure accuracy and quality control.

  • Work with vendors to resolve issues that arise during payment processing.

  • Assist the team as needed to meet month-end goals and deadlines.

  • Cross-train on other team functions and provide backup support as required.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

  • Basic accounting knowledge is a plus, but not required.


Education

  • College degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.


Experience

  • 2–5 years of related experience.

  • None required.


Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Prolonged sitting with occasional bending, stooping, and stretching.

  • Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate standard office equipment (keyboard, copier, telephone, calculator).

  • Requires normal hearing and vision to prepare and communicate reports.

  • Occasional lifting of paper files or boxes (up to specified weight).

  • Work is performed in an office environment and may be stressful at times.

  • Interaction may include dealing with upset or dissatisfied individuals.

  • Flexibility is required to provide staffing support during emergency or disaster situations.


OSHA Category

  • This position involves no routine exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Employees are not required to perform emergency care or first aid as part of their role.
