Nesco Resource is currently sourcing a General Shop Hand for our client in Chesterfield, MI.
Shift Options:

Monday–Friday:
-
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shift) or
-
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (8-hour shift)

Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as needed)
Pay Rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
-
Perform general labor duties in a machine shop environment

Clean parts and deburr welded components using electric hand grinders

Operate an electric saw to cut steel materials
-
Use measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers, etc.) to verify dimensions

Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
-
Operate overhead crane and hi-lo (forklift) as needed

Assist with various tasks based on production needs and experience

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance

Crane and hi-lo experience preferred
