* Inspect documentation, parts, components, materials, subassemblies and equipment against stated specifications, using measurement systems with valid calibration and acceptable repeatability and reproducibility. Comply with applicable inspection procedures and standard work.
* Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in compliance with applicable procedures and standard work.
* Assist in designing tests and fixtures and their set-up.
* Ensure all inspection and test activities are conducted safely. Participate in creation and review of Hazard Analysis and Risk Control for these activities.
* When authorized, perform calibration of measurement systems.
* Be familiar with inspection and test procedures, standard work and test plans, and provide input to continuously improve them.
* Document the results of inspections and tests. Verify the stability of results over time, as feasible.
* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Required Experience & Skills
• Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance (industry flexible).
• Ability to read and comprehend standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Strong math and basic measurement skills.
• Able to use computer systems for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Nice-to-have: forklift experience (certification provided onsite).
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems.
Years of Experience
• 2–5 years preferred.
Education Requirements
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Shift & Hours
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
• Workweek begins Sunday night and ends Friday morning.
Overtime
• Overtime opportunities available on weekends.
Training
• First 6–8 weeks on day shift for training (typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
Physical Demands
• Lift 40 lbs (multiple times/day).
• Frequent twisting, bending, leaning, and stooping.
• Operating a forklift.
Safety Requirements
• Mandatory PPE at all times (coveralls, safety glasses, etc.).
• Must follow site safety rules.
