Job Title: Winding Operator
Location: Apple Creek, Ohio (Candidates in Orrville, Wooster, Massillon, and Millersburg are encouraged to apply)
Shift: 1^st shift while training – 7:00am-3:30pm (this schedule will be in effect until the trainer feels they are ready).
1^st shift after training & if the department is working OT: 5:00am-3:30pm 
1^st shift NO OT hours: 6:45am-3:30pm

2^nd Shift 3:15pm - 1:45am (Monday-Thursday) OT for this shift is worked on Fridays.

Pay Rate: $17.00 

Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Winding Operator to join our team in Apple Creek, Ohio. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours, hands-on training, and the chance to grow within a stable, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates are motivated, dependable, and eager to learn new skills. Pay reviews are conducted at 3, 6, and 12 months, offering clear opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform all set-up and process steps to load, operate, and tear down a paper winding machine.
• Perform all change over process steps to load, operate, and tear down a paper winding machine.
• Meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Complete production reports; determine material needs, run times, measure finite elements, and packaging requirements.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Ability to read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers and basic math calculations using fractions & decimals
• Good hand eye coordination

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or general labor role preferred.
• Ability to be trained and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Willingness to work full-time and occasional overtime.
• High school Diploma or equivalent
• able to push/pull 75lbs, lift/carry 60 lbs
