CNC Machinist

CNC Turn-Mill Machinist

• Direct Hire – 1^st shift
• Schenectady, NY 
• $30-$40 per hour

• Set up and operate CNC turn-mill machines
• Work with 4-axis lathes and live tooling
• Operate vertical turret lathes (VTLs) with milling capabilities
• Operate horizontal 4-axis (HTL’s) turn-mill lathes
• Perform milling, drilling, tapping, and contouring on CNC lathes
• Program and edit machines using G-code
• Create and modify programs using CAD/CAM software
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Select tooling and set offsets
• Perform in-process and first-article inspections
• Troubleshoot machining and program issues

• 4-axis CNC turning and turn-mill experience
• Live tooling experience
• CAD/CAM and G-code programming
• Blueprint reading and GD&T
• Precision measurement (mics, calipers, gauges)
