Key Responsibilities
- Coach, and develop the quality inspection team to meet production and quality goals.
- Coordinate daily quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and documentation of products and processes.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with customer specifications, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist with internal audits and support external customer and regulatory audits as needed.
- Investigate quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns and drive process improvements.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of inspection and testing equipment.
- Maintain and report key quality performance metrics (e.g., scrap, rework, customer complaints).
- Participate in new product launches to ensure quality standards are established and met.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform visual inspections for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs may be required.
- Manufacturing floor and office setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and production processes.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
