Process all documents (paper and digital) associated with returns and adjustments to customer orders to ensure inventory accuracy and customer invoice accuracy
Inspect all product returned for appropriate disposition (saleable, damage/recuperation, damage/out of code dumps, etc...) and ensure proper coding is applied.
Execute end of day processes and reports, ensuring all discrepancies are researched and addressed.
Work with drivers and transportation supervisors to address any issues and address training/retraining needs and process improvement opportunities.

1. Tell us about the project and day to day responsibilities for the contractor and the type of environment they will be working in.
2. The contractor will primarily focus on processing product returns from resident yards. Responsibilities include checking in products returned by drivers, verifying proper return codes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations (including checking temperatures), and confirming completed paperwork. Tasks also involve manual credit entry, physical product handling, code date verification, and determining whether products can be restocked and resold. This role requires maintaining accurate logs, completing return-to-stock batch files before the end of each shift, and properly recording refusals in the system. It is a highly independent position that interfaces with the night operations and transportation departments. Communication is mainly conducted via email. Working primarily in a refrigerated environment (approximately 40 F).
