Schedule:
Mo – Fri, 40hr/week with flexible hours. Occasional early morning (3am – 5am) work required.
Scope of position:
Assembly operator, responsible for operating developmental fiber making equipment and for managing the experimental wareflow.
Scope may include the following:
• Load, setup, run, and turnaround the developmental lathe
• Identify, report, and help resolve frequent problems
• Help develop the SOP and best practices associated with the developmental process
• Manage wareflow as needed
• Work with process engineers on data collection, experiments, etc.
• Train shifts as needed
Required skills and experience:
• 2 years of work experience in a technical field.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for an extended period
• Flexibility in working hours
• Self-motivated
• Attention to details
• Clear communication
Desired skills:
• Prior work experience in *** fibermaking plant
• Experience with JSAs and ergonomic assessments
• Experience in writing SOPs and training associates
• Innovation and voicing of new ideas
• Rapid problem solving
• Willingness to train and help others
• Documenting and reporting issues
