Production Assembler
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm
Pay: Up to $21/hr
Location: Troy, NY
Duration: Temp-to-permanent
We are hiring a hands-on Production Assembler to help build large mechanical systems with our manufacturing client in Troy. This is not a single-task assembly line role — you’ll work on assembling a full product using basic tools and prints.
Responsibilities

Assemble metal components into complete units following drawings and work instructions

Use basic hand and power tools (wrenches, band saws, grinders, etc.)

Read blueprints and schematics

Move large products between assembly cells using a forklift or pallet jack (25–30% of the day)

Perform basic prep, fitting, and touch-up prior to shipment

Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements

1 year of production or assembly experience

Ability to read 2D drawings and use basic measuring tools

Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand/power tools

Forklift experience or ability to be certified

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift

Strong communication skills and ability to explain past work experience
