Sr Engineering Technician

How many years of electronic experience do you have. / Min 5 years required.
Must posses the requisite knowledge of how to operate GPTE and Windows based tools.
How many years of electronic test experience do you have? / Min. 5 years required
What procedural reading or SOD reading experience do you have? / Highly recommended experience in following detailed procedures diligently and consistently.
Does candidate have an associate degree? Highly preferred.
This role requires a quality background and ANSI standard test methods.
The req is for a Sr. Eng Tech, but we are looking for candidates with a specific work history to fulfill certain tasks that do require a quality background and a history of working ESD / TR-53 / ANSI.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily ESD tasks for multiple ESD labs across an aerospace production site.
o Support ESD Site Lead/Focal on tasks related to:
Annual ESD compliance verification of ESD labs
Periodic random auditing of ESD and humidity control compliance
ESD event investigations
Revision of ESD related quality documentation
o Manage daily operation of ESD ticket system
Provide ESD related services within critical time periods
Communicate with internal customers about ESD related tasks and tickets
o Have a quality mindset
o Collect data for ESD related events for review by ESD SME and ESD Site Focal
o Current or prior ESD-TR53 ESD Compliance Verification Technician certification
Experience operating specialized ESD related test equipment
Knowledge of ANSI/ESD S20.20
Prepare Test Documentation
Lead a small team with work direction, training and scheduling
Operate general purpose test equipment to include oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies and function generators.
