Machine Operator – Production
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Machine Operators to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures product quality, order accuracy, and on-time production by safely operating and maintaining packaging and processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned production and packaging machinery safely and efficiently
- Set up machines and run equipment at full capacity following standard procedures
- Make minor equipment adjustments (weight, length, sensor settings) as needed
- Change tooling, film, belts, and components for production runs
- Monitor products and packaging to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
- Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of machines
- Retest and adjust equipment following changeovers
- Follow safety regulations, GMP, and company operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Work overtime and varied shifts as needed to meet production demands
- Perform additional duties to support production and quality objectives
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to identify quality or packaging issues
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- 1–3 years of experience as a machine operator or production associate in manufacturing, packaging, or industrial environments
- Experience following GMP, safety, or quality control procedures
- Exposure to machine setup, changeovers, or minor mechanical adjustments
