Position Summary
The Production Worker I is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by inspecting, labeling, packaging and handling both raw and finished products. This role follows established procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Work is performed under moderate supervision, with opportunities to learn and grow within the production environment. Contributors in this role may work in standard production areas and controlled (clean-room) environments as required.
- Inspect products and packaging materials to ensure quality standards are met before shipment or further processing.
- Accurately label components and finished goods in accordance with lot and tracking requirements.
- Package finished goods safely and efficiently, following standardized work instructions and GMP.
- Maintain accurate production logs, records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Participate in routine cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety, quality and environmental procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work in clean-room or controlled environments when required, adhering to gowning and contamination control protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily production goals.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, inspection or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
- Comfortable working in a team environment with moderate supervision.
- Willingness to work in clean-room and controlled environments as needed.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately preferred.
- On-site, full-time role with regular day shift hours.
- Work may entail standing, walking, bending, and lifting as part of daily duties.
- Applicable safety and PPE requirements must be followed at all times.
- Training is provided to ensure compliance with GMP and operational standards.
