Job Responsibilities

Utilize engineering specifications, drawings, certified electrical standards, and customer orders to ensure products meet all requirements.

Inspect materials, processes, and mechanical/electrical systems to ensure high-quality, fully functional products.

Perform testing at various stages of the manufacturing process to verify compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Conduct standard electrical and functional testing on a variety of equipment.

Diagnose testing errors, product defects, or technical issues.

Recommend corrective actions to resolve testing problems or equipment malfunctions.

Accurately record inspection and test results and maintain detailed test documentation.

Ensure all testing activities comply with applicable safety and quality standards.
Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, and ladder diagrams.

Ability to read, understand, and apply electrical standards and technical documentation.

Ability to verify electrical components within products using appropriate meter equipment.

Ability to read and review engineering specifications and blueprints to determine product conformance.
-
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Journeyman Electrician certification.

Three (3) or more years of experience in commercial electrical or facilities management environments.

Familiarity with electrical standards and compliance certifications (UL, ETL, CSA).

Strong understanding of electrical principles, components, and physics as applied to electrical equipment testing.

Ability to reference and apply NEC 2020 code requirements to ensure product compliance.

Knowledge of hazards associated with working on or near energized equipment and proper safety practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
-
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize work efficiently.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills to resolve issues and concerns.

Proficient computer skills, including experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor) and Microsoft 365.
