Global Operations Finance Manager
The Global Operations Finance Manager will oversee accounting and finance teams supporting worldwide operational initiatives. This position provides critical financial insights to leadership through the development and delivery of financial statements and analytical reports. The role manages general accounting functions and business transactions for global operations in alignment with corporate accounting standards and internal control frameworks. Additionally, this position leads direct reports and extended teams through quarterly consolidation cycles for forecasts and budgets in support of broader operational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to advance business growth; conduct financial analysis for designated areas and deliver monthly performance summaries to leadership. Coordinate with cross-functional teams on business matters affecting financial projections.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through effective recruitment, development, and retention strategies; foster an engaged and connected workforce through people-centered leadership practices.
- Optimize capital deployment for internal stakeholders and external partners; create and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts. Lead teams in supporting investment evaluations and approval processes for capital initiatives and strategic investments.
- Drive team communication and collaboration to identify opportunities that maximize customer value. Work closely with leadership in planning, tracking, and reporting performance metrics for assigned functions while identifying opportunities to enhance profitability through strategic pricing and operational efficiency.
- Oversee monthly financial close activities for designated areas and operating segments, including account reconciliation and preparation of monthly financial reporting packages in accordance with corporate accounting guidelines and procedures.
- Manage business systems and process documentation; validate effectiveness of new procedures and maintain compliance documentation for regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal audit functions as required.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives utilizing structured improvement methodologies and tools; provide oversight and review of analytical work performed by team members across assigned business functions.
- Emphasize process enhancement through digital solutions to evolve the team's focus toward delivering strategic insights to the operations organization.
- Lead team participation in enterprise initiatives to achieve collaborative business outcomes and establish consistent practices across the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in cost accounting, finance, or supply chain finance functions.
- At least two (2) years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated success leading teams in dynamic, high-velocity environments.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing and production operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, international accounting frameworks).
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
