Nesco Data Center & Infrastructure is seeking a Software Implementation Specialist in the Greater San Diego CA area.
The Software Implementation Specialist is responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting software solutions used in industrial cabinet and control environments. This role partners closely with customers and internal teams to ensure software systems are installed correctly, perform as intended, and continue to operate reliably after deployment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with customer-facing communication skills and a structured, project-driven mindset.
This is a full-time and hybrid opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and deploy software applications in customer-controlled cabinet and automation environments.

Perform system validation, testing, and quality checks to ensure stable and reliable deployments.

Follow established implementation processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.

Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to communicate project progress, timelines, and technical considerations.

Collect, analyze, and manage data required for new installations and upgrades to existing systems.

Develop and execute implementation plans that align with customer requirements and internal standards.

Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting, and guidance for new and existing customer systems.

Identify issues, risks, or system defects and escalate them appropriately to leadership or development teams.

Document system configurations, processes, and lessons learned to support future deployments.

Apply analytical thinking, mathematics, and logic to diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.

Propose improvements and innovative approaches to better meet technical and customer needs.

Collaborate effectively across teams to support successful project delivery.

Perform additional duties as needed to support business and customer objectives.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent hands-on experience in software implementation, controls, or automation environments.

Experience working in technical, customer-facing roles.
Technical Skills & Experience

Familiarity with common business and technical software tools, including spreadsheets, documentation, presentation, and email platforms.

Hands-on experience in controls, automation, or PLC-based environments.

Experience working with software tool suites used for configuration, deployment, or diagnostics.

Foundational understanding of computer science and software system concepts.
