You’ll work on high-quality, custom components using manual equipment, with consistent hours and strong long-term potential.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment, including:
- Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM)
- Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL)
- Manual lathes and mills
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sample parts to manufacture components to spec
- Perform machine setups based on part configuration and job requirements
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including routine machine care
- Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience with manual mill and lathe setup and operation
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Solid math skills and mechanical aptitude
- High attention to detail with a commitment to precision and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced job shop setting
- Overhead crane experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
Pay: $27–$33/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)
